Our Prayer

Take a moment to consider the worse teacher that you have ever had. What about the best teacher? Teachers have the ability to make a profoundly positive or negative influence on a child’s life! God has been working in lives around the world through the Network of International Christian Schools. NICS is founded on the belief that a major thrust for world evangelism and discipleship can happen through the classroom with the impact of committed Christian educators.

Our entire family (Jeremy & Sabrina with children Drew, Luke and Emme) will be leaving for Singapore in July. We will be teaching at ICS Singapore for the next two years. ICS Singapore is an international Christian school with over 400 students in grades K-12. The students are children from Singapore, along with children of missionaries, businessmen and diplomats from countries around the world. Our prayer is that these students and their families would come to know Christ and grow in their walk with Him through the testimony of the teachers at ICS Singapore.

Singapore is a small island (12 miles by 26 miles) in Southeast Asia with over 4 million people. The people are, for the most part, from China, Malaysia and India. Over 85% of the population follows Taoism, Buddhism or Islam. As the city becomes more modern, the people are beginning to look away from their family’s religion and have begun to look for God.

John 4:35 says, “Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”

Through the generous support of Christians, NICS is able to provide the majority of our salary. We have trusted Christ to provide a network of prayer and financial support. We would like to ask you to be involved in our mission to Singapore. We need those who would be willing to pray for our family and our mission in serving those who need Christ in Singapore. We also need those who would be willing to give a financial gift to be used for airfare, relocation expenses and housing. If you would be willing to help fill these needs, please complete the commitment card or go donate online. We, in turn, would like to send you a monthly prayer letter detailing our praises and requests.

“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified.” (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

In His Name,
Jeremy and Sabrina Erwin
