When you live in North Texas you think there are only two seasons. It's either hot summer or a cool winter. The last few years have seen only a couple of snow storms. Mind you, anyone living north of Kansas will scoff at what we consider a storm, but here we take what we can get.
This evening we had a snow storm move through the area. Around 5:30 pm it started to rain/sleet/snow. Shortly thereafter it started to become more of a snow. By 9:00 pm we had some accumulation.
We took these pictures with our kids outside. They wanted to have a snowball fight and make snow angels and snowmen. The reality is it will all be gone by morning.
